In the adventure platformer with a top view of Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, the 2 main characters fall into the pseudo-three-dimensional large world and save all its inhabitants. Captain Bee created a unique device to control bees. A whole species of these insects has been enslaved and hidden in various parts of the kingdom. Before Yuuki and Layley can free all the bees, they will have to visit a lot of levels and solve many puzzles. At the very end, they will meet with an insidious villain, otherwise he will return to Stingdom again to harm the local population.
Saving every bee, you can add life to yourself. At the very beginning, the main characters die from a couple of strokes, but by the middle, the amount of vital energy increases significantly. Levels in the game are launched using huge books, and among a variety of collectible items you can find such game currency as feathers or tonics. Some of the pages will allow you to change the height of the platforms or destroy obstacles, as well as have another beneficial effect on the passage of the storyline.
