The Last Show of Mr. Chardish — is an action-adventure game with a story-centered focus we play the role of an actress who tries to discover and understand a message left to her in an unusual form by an old friend. The game was developed and published by the Katowice-based Punk Notion studio previously the company released Weakless. In this game, we play the role of an actress who, many years later, returns to an abandoned theater in a British countryside and finds that an old friend left a note for her in a series of magical performances. Each art presents separate stories, but refers to events of the past and leads to the mystery hidden in them.
The message ties in with the old ambitions and dreams of both characters. Ars Fabulae is an action-adventure game in which we look at the world of a game from the third person (TPP). The essence of the game is to explore the locations associated with each art that our heroine «visits». Each map is very different from the other, and their style is associated with a specific art sometimes we travel through places that seem to be ripped out of a picture, and sometimes along industrial corridors that resemble a large factory.
Each time we take on a different role. Interestingly, the gameplay is also changing sometimes the game is more like an action game, sometimes an adventure or a platform game. The main task of the player is to discover the story prepared by the developers, but it requires more than just watching animated scenes or reading dialogues to achieve everything, we must pay attention to detail. The locations are full of all sorts of hints and metaphors there is practically nothing pointless here.
Ars Fabulae features interesting 3D graphics created using virtual reality technologies. It should be noted that the correct game is played normally you do not need VR glasses for this, they were simply used in the design of the graphics the creators compare this process with drawing, which should have provided huge freedom of expression. Locations are made in a significantly different style, which is associated with the theme of art.
