Sakuna Of Rice and Ruin — is a mixture of platforming and farming game, an adventure project in which you will have to travel with the Goddess of the Harvest and a group of people, and try to build your own unique world. The game takes place in Medieval Japan, or rather, in its alternative fantasy version. Gods live here, various strange creatures live next to people, and not only. But none of this matters. The important thing is that you will play the role of the exiled Goddess of the Harvest, who, together with a group of people, was expelled into the unknown expanses of this world. Now, together with them, you must try to survive and found your own civilization, settlement.
The gameplay in this game can be roughly divided into two directions. the first direction offers a typical 2D platformer formula. You will explore different locations, collect items, complete various tasks and solve physics puzzles, overcome various obstacles, and much more. Nothing out of the ordinary for a typical platformer. Of course, you will have to fight, and you will have to do it with the help of different tools that will be at your disposal. The second area of gameplay is farming and construction.
Usually some time is devoted to this stage between missions. At this time, you will cook food, make various items, including armor, sow and harvest, and more. Nothing complicated, but exactly what will be done during this period of time will determine how events will develop further.
