Handball 21 — is another part of the famous handball series of sports games. The game was created thanks to the efforts of the EKO Software studio, also known for its How to Survive adventure series. Handball 21 isn’t much different from previous releases. The gameplay focuses on the rivalry of the athletes on the field rather than on aspects related to the role of the team manager. In the game we can find licensed teams and up to 1600 players known from the prestigious European handball leagues mainly the first and sometimes the second among others, Lidl Starligue, Proligue, Asobal League, DKB Handball Bundesliga. The developers have improved some aspects of the gameplay — the game allows players to be more tactical in their games. The artificial intelligence of the opponents has also been improved. We can play Handball 21 alone or with other players. The game offers many game modes we can play one match, the entire league season, or play in an extended career mode. The multiplayer mode offers the opportunity to compete against other players over the Internet or locally on a shared screen.
Handball 21 has a nice 3D graphic design. The graphics try to realistically convey the struggle of the athletes this can be seen both in the appearance of the halls where the meetings are held and in the models of individual players. This is not the main quality for example, the animation is sometimes a little harsh, but the game correctly conveys the atmosphere of a football match, which is most important in such a game.
