rFactor 2 — is a follow-up to the 2005 rFactor racing simulator. The second part boasts excellent graphics, realistic dynamics, improved physics, vibrant sound effects and many various improvements and innovations. You will have the opportunity to drive different classes of cars from the legendary Formula 1 all the way to modern passenger cars and take part in hurricane competitions, both in single races and in multiplayer mode. rFactor is a realistic racing simulator that offers players the latest cars, detailed track settings, excellent graphics, exciting multiplayer and highly realistic racing. You will be able to compete with both AI and other players in multiplayer mode, raising your rating in the standings and participating in various disciplines.
The project has more than enough features, but the main thing is its realism. Here you have the «rubberization» of the track in the places where it is rolling, because of which the difference in grip becomes noticeable after the first lap, and the dynamic change of time of day and weather, the ability to replace the driver, which is especially effective in endurance racing, an advanced tuning system, Lovely AI, cabin vibration and more.
As for the tracks, thanks to the support of the Steam workshop, as well as flexible adjustment up to adjusting the thickness of marking lines on the road surface, which affects the grip, there are no problems for players with uniformity. However, when playing with friends there is the possibility of broadcasts similar to television. From the disciplines there are endurance races, karting, touring, oval races and formulas. Probably the only thing that sophisticated gamers lack is a rally and more beautiful graphics, which, although it does not look like nextgen, but overall, is quite pleasant.
