Cyanide and Happiness Freakpocalypse — is a side-view adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic setting. In the game, you take on the role of the Chicken Coop Go Freaky McCarthy, who is simply trying to make the world a better place. The problem is that nobody likes the main character the school sucks, he can’t find the prom date, everyone bullies him including the teachers, and trying to help only makes the situation worse. In terms of game mechanics, Cyanide and Happiness Adventure Game is a classic adventure game.
The game boils down to exploring locations, conducting conversations, collecting items and solving riddles. This is all done through a simple point-and-click interface. The puzzles are relatively difficult, but there is a hint system for less experienced players. The game offers eye-catching 2D visuals that blend beautiful cartoon backgrounds with very simple characters that look just like the prototype web comics.
