I have followed all the steps and now I see the application icon on my desktop. The problem is that even if I do ‘run by administrator’, Steam automatically starts, and it gives an error. Is there no bypass for this problem?
I think your antivirus deleted a file. Bc i crack other games and once antivirus deleted a file and when launching the steam pops up. After restoring the file it worked perfectly.

im not sure how to even update or install the new game… It wont let me even open the game anymore. I don’t see the installdir option. Ifeel like ive lost all of my progress in this game and I’m disappointed
open the update folder and then open the setup.exe file click the “copy contents of RUNE directory to installdir” before hitting the install button its right below where the install directory and the size of the update is mentioned and make sure to turn off your antivirus before install the update.

can someone plz help me with my saves not being lost. the lst ep 5-6 update had my saves gone. had to play 1-4 again. but i remember when i did the ep 3-4 update, my saves were there i didnt need to play 1-2 again. just when i got the 5-6 update my saves where gone
just go to Appdata/Local/Dispatch/SaveGames and back up your saves before updating. The new game version will look in that location for your save file.
